Project Description
The Car Holding and Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) project for Al Tayer Motors in Jebel Ali Industrial zone was for the conversion of an existing building, which was previously a ceramic tile manufacturing facility into a new Vehicle Storage and Pre Delivery Inspection Facility.
The works comprised of the complete removal of all existing wall and roof cladding, skylights, redundant services and doors taking the facility back to just an existing steel portal frame. Extensive civil works were carried out on the existing floor slab and the steel frame was slightly strengthened which new steel additions.
New floor finishes were applied within various areas of the facility along with the construction of a new two-storey build structure. All new Building Services were introduced to the facility to cater for the new end use.
Attached to the warehouse is an existing office building which was stripped back to its previous shell and core condition and fitted out to new modern office standards.
